HOLT, Fla., March 25, 2017–A line of strong thunderstorms pushed through the Holt area Saturday around 8:30 p.m.
High wind and some air-to-ground lightning accompanied the storm that left .5 to an inch or more of rain in some areas as it passed through.
At 8:30 p.m., the National Weather Service in Mobile issued a hazardous weather outlook statement warning of 40-to-50 mph gusts as the storm moved across the panhandle.
By 9:30 p.m., the storms had moved further east leaving light rain in the area and the possibility for more wetness on Sunday.
