CRESTVIEW, Fla., June 7, 2017—The public is invited to a town hall meeting June 8 hosted by Okaloosa County Commissioners Nathan Boyles and Graham Fountain regarding north county transportation, traffic challenges and funding opportunities.
The meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. in Warriors’ Hall at 201 Stillwell Ave. in Crestview.
Boyles said the meeting will give residents a chance to express their concerns and desires about the future of transportation in North Okaloosa.
“I am looking forward to the opportunity to join with Commissioner Fountain and representatives from the city of Crestview to meet with county citizens and discuss north county transportation challenges and opportunities for funding,” he said in a news release. “For me, this meeting is a continuation of my quarterly constituent meeting series. Commissioner Fountain shares my dedication to solving north county transportation challenges, and I am excited to partner with him in hosting this meeting.”
Representatives of the city of Crestview have been invited to join the discussion. The meeting will be casual and informal, and light refreshments will be served.
Boyles represents District 3, which includes Holt, and is the liaison officer for the Regional Transportation Planning Organization.
Fountain represents District 1, which includes most of Crestview and the northeast portion of Okaloosa County.
