Crestview teen arrested for making threats against another boy

HOLT, Fla., Nov. 14, 2018–A high school student was arrested today for threatening another student in Crestview.

Crestview High School student Drew Kristoffer Williams, 15, is charged with making a false report concerning the use of a firearm in a violent manner against a person following an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office investigation.

During a Facetime chat, Williams’ ex-girlfriend said he threatened to bash another 15-year-old student’s head in a brick wall and bring a gun to school to kill him.

This threat was apparently sparked by Williams seeing his ex-girlfriend walking with the other boy in the hallway at the high school Nov. 9.

A second teen who overheard the threat, said she hard Williams threatened to kill himself after his ex-girlfriend told him their relationship was over. She watched as he pulled a knife to make good on his threat.

She then heard Williams make the threat against the other boy.

When questioned, Williams admitted to the threat to bash the other boy’s head in, but denied making a comment about shooting him.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has a zero-tolerance policy for threats of school violence.
