HOLT, Fla., July 21, 2023—The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a battery incident that occurred here this morning.

Deputies responded after receiving a 9-1-1 call just before 10 a.m. about an assault at a home on Sundance Way.

According to sheriff’s office, the call was about a woman being attacked by a man who fled the scene before deputies arrived.

No serious injuries were reported, according to OCSO.
