
HOLT, Fla., Oct. 9, 2023—The high pressure that’s been hanging over the area for nearly two weeks will be replaced by an area of low pressure along a frontal boundary that will move across the northern Gulf of Mexico Wednesday bringing rain.

According to the National Weather Service, 1-3 inches are possible with locally heavy rainfalls producing higher amounts, especially Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning.
Winds Wednesday and Thursday will increase to 10-15 mph in the afternoon with gusts up to 25 mph.
The forecast for Thursday and Friday include the possibility of thunderstorms.
Saturday’s forecast is for sunny skies with a high near 80 degrees. Sunday will be cooler with a high near 74.
