OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla., Oct. 30, 2023—A Crestview man died in a single-vehicle traffic accident early yesterday.

The 26-year-old man was driving a pickup north on Old River Road around 1 a.m. when his truck veered off the road, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

His truck veered right then back onto the road, crossing the centerline.

Overcorrecting, the driver veered again to the right causing the truck to overturn. It came to a rest upside down facing south.

The man was ejected from the truck resulting in fatal injuries, according to the release.
