HOLT, Fla., Jan. 21, 2024 (updated 1/21/24 at 10:25 p.m.)—A Holt man was killed last night in a two-vehicle accident on Trawick Creek Road.

The two vehicles met while heading in different directions on Trawick around 7:15 p.m.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol news release, a 20-year-old Crestview woman, heading east, attempted to turn left onto Belgium Run Road and failed to see a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction, apparently operating without lights.

The front of her car hit the front of the motorcycle, throwing the man, 22, to the north shoulder of the road.

He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, according to the release. No other injuries were reported.

Trawick Creek at Belgium Run was closed for a period of time while FHP conducted an accident investigation.
