Commissioner Boyles to host town hall meeting

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla., March 27, 2024—Okaloosa County District 3 Commissioner Nathan Boyles will host a town hall meeting Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Baker School gymnasium.

The purpose of the meeting is to listen to concerns from residents, dispel any existing misinformation about the study and discuss how the county and residents of north Okaloosa will work together to preserve agricultural and rural traditions while responding responsibly to any future growth.

“This is an important issue for north Okaloosa residents and I look forward to listening to their concerns and gathering feedback,” Boyles said.

The meeting is open to the public and members of the media. 

Baker School is located 1369 14th St., east of State Road 4 in Baker.

The meeting will be streamed live on the Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/OkaloosaCounty/.

  1. The problem is people do show up but offer nothing except yelling.

    In the absence of solid intelligent area public input, developers love that. They go on with their plans to ruin every inch of NW FL with county commissioners blessing and their cut.

    When will people learn either show up with intelligent comments and ideas or don’t bother.

    Just showing up and acting crazy gets us nowhere.
