EGLIN AFB, Fla., March 28, 2024—The 96th Test Wing has announced two road closure dates for tomorrow and Monday due to weapons testing.

According to Facebook posts, the wing will close State Roads 85 and 285 for 30 minutes tomorrow sometime between 9 a.m. and noon.

Then, on Monday testing will close portions of Hwy 85, again between 9 a.m. and noon.

Portions of the road impacted by Monday’s closure includes blocking northbound traffic on the south end of Hwy 85, north of the Hwy 123 off ramp to Hwy 85 north, and the north end of Hwy 85 off-ramp to 77th Special Forces Way/Duke Field exit.

A backup mission is scheduled for May 6.
