OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla., June 25, 2024—The county’s consultant conducting a study of north Okaloosa growth will be conducting a town hall meeting July 15 at the Crestview Community Center.

The meeting is scheduled for two hours beginning at 6 p.m.

Inspire Placemaking Collective Inc. released a draft baseline conditions analysis report June 3 on its website that was available for comment for two weeks; however, the comment period is now closed.

The report includes an analysis of county and study area population projections, a review of infrastructure, and services’ needs. The final report will include updated planning profiles.

The intent of publishing the draft analysis was to allow the public to comment on its contents prior to publishing the final report which is intended to occur at the end of this month.

During the July meeting, consultants will be review the findings of the baseline conditions analysis, review capital improvements planning and review the development constraints report.
