BAKER, Fla., Aug. 2, 2024—An Alabama woman died during a head-on collision on Galliver Cut Off yesterday evening.

The two vehicles, an SUV and a pickup, met near Stanley Lane around 6:45 p.m.

According to a brief Florida Highway Patrol news release, the 28-year-old was woman from Red Level.

A 58 year-year-old Holt man, driving the pickup, received minor injuries during the crash, according to the release.

Galliver Cut Off was closed in both directions for an extended time while law enforcement conducted an investigation.

The accident was still being investigated as of the time of this release around 4:30 a.m.
