Traffic stop uncovers mobile meth lab

NICEVILLE, Fla., Aug. 9, 2024—Two Crestview women were arrested in Niceville today for operating a mobile methamphetamine lab.

Carley Elizabeth Palucci, 35, was charged with trafficking meth and possession of drug equipment. Tiffany Dawn Williams, 33, was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug equipment.

Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a traffic stop on a 2021 Chevrolet Colorado on Cedar Avenue near the intersection of Evergreen Avenue, just south of College Avenue, across from Northwest Florida State College.

During the stop, a search of the vehicle revealed an active one-pot meth lab along with other narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

Members of OCSO’s Multi-Agency Drug Task Force responded and processed the lab. The task force is comprised of members from OCSO and the Crestview, Fort Walton Beach and Niceville police departments.
