Davis was arrested in June and in 2023 for fleeing to elude, driving with a suspended license, failure to register a vehicle and no insurance, and for dealing in stolen property. He was arrested in 2022 for an out-of-county warrant in Alabama, resisting arrest, battery, kidnapping, petty theft, failure to register a vehicle, using the wrong license plate, driving with a suspended license and drugs in Okaloosa County, and for drugs in Covington County.
