HOLT, Fla., Jan. 24, 2024—No one was injured when a garbage truck slid off a bridge on Bone Creek Road today.

As an Adams Sanitation truck crossed the bridge around 11 a.m., it hit a patch of frozen snow, slid off the roadway and rolled over into the creek.

The driver escaped unharmed.

Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the accident.

Bone Creek Road was closed from Pasco Broxson Circle to about 500 yards south of the bridge. The sheriff’s office announced the road was reopened at 4 p.m.
