CRESTVIEW, Fla., Feb. 24, 2025—A recent search of micro memory cards led to the discovery of more than 30 child pornography files belonging to a Crestview man.

Christopher Derek Vogel, 38, was charged with 30 counts of possession of child pornography, sexual battery of a child and child cruelty.
Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputies executed a search warrant Wednesday after locating incriminating information during an analysis of a computer software-sharing process.
A recent search warrant by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office located micro-SD cards at Vogel’s house with more than 30 child pornography files.
During an ongoing digital forensic investigation, investigators found evidence on Vogel’s cell phone that he had sexually abused a child and produced child pornography at his residence.
As a result, Vogel was also charged with sexual battery and eight counts of production of child pornography.
A judge denied bond for Vogel and he remains in the Okaloosa County Jail in Crestview.
