HOLT, Fla., March 31, 2025—A Holt resident is being held at the Okaloosa County Jail on additional charges of possession of child pornography.

Jarred Duke Pearce, 24, was arrested by the Crestview Police Department Nov. 7 for probation violation and three counts of failure to register as a sex offender.
Thursday, he was charged with an additional three counts of possession of child pornography.
According to an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office news release, an investigation began in April 2024 following a tip from the National Center of Missing and Endangered Children.
A search warrant was executed on Pearce’s Snapchat account and found to include five child pornography videos.
Sheriff’s Office investigators executed a search warrant Nov. 7 on Pearce’s home in Holt. His cellphone was seized and was found to contain additional pornography involving a child as young as 5 years old.
Pearce was arrested in 2024 for failure to report changes to his cell number and probation violation.
As a Fort Walton Beach resident, he was arrested in 2018 for using his computer to solicit or lure a child to engage in sexual conduct, using a two-way device to facility a felony, extortion and juvenile probation violation for possessing obscene material. He was sentenced in 2019 for using a two-way device to commit a felony.
