Operation Dark Harvest nabs 14

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla., Oct. 29, 2025—Members of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit have spent the past two weeks conducting undercover operations designed to identify and arrest online child predators.

Dubbed “Operation Dark Harvest,” it resulted in the arrests of 14 men accused of seeking out children with the purpose of engaging in sexual activity.

“We will never let up on our ongoing work to stop depraved adults who attempt to prey on young people,” said Sheriff Eric Aden. “Parents can play a crucial role in prevention by monitoring their children’s usage of social media, including activities on gaming systems.”

Arrested for traveling to meet a child for sex, use of a two-way device to facilitate a felony and use of a computer to seduce, solicit or lure a child are:

  • Marvin Daniel Otis Felix, 41, Brooklyn, N.Y.
  • Miguel Giron-Diaz, 48
  • Andrae Barrett, 37
  • Kalesha Gullakanti, 30
  • Tyner Lee Akins, 28, Mary Esther
  • Emmanuel Rodriguez-Espinosa, 27, Dothan, Ala.
  • Stephen Lee Wilaby, 43, Pensacola
  • Melvin Saavedra-Vasquez, 45
  • Harvin Javier Guzman Centeno, 31, Fort Walton Beach

Arrested for use of a computer to solicit guardian of a child, travel to meet a child for sex and use of a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony are:

  • James Ray Wells, 53, Crestview
  • Daeshon Markeith Fields, 25, Dothan, Ala.

Charged with use of a computer to seduce, solicit, or lure a child and use of a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony are:

  • Alexander Thomas Wardrop, 31, Mary Esther
  • Zachary Adam Clapper, 36
  • James Hall, 60
