HOLT, Fla., Feb. 5, 2026—The Holt Fire District is kicking off its 2026 rib season tomorrow and Saturday just in time for the Super Bowl.

Holt Fire is smoking a total of 225 ribs with two smokings tomorrow and one on Saturday.

After the first batch comes out of the smoker before noon tomorrow, more racks go in for an afternoon smoking.

Ribs will be available sometime after 11 a.m. both days. They sell for $22 a rack.

Holt Fire District holds three rib sales each year on Super Bowl weekend, Memorial Day weekend and Columbus Day weekend. Those who miss out on Super Bowl ribs can catch the Memorial Day rib sale May 22 and 23.

The fire station is located on the north side of U.S. Highway 90, a block west of the flashing light at Log Lake Road.

Directions to the rib sale: The fire station is located at 483 U.S. 90 West in Holt. If coming from Interstate 10, take exit 45, turn north toward U.S. 90, then west at the flashing light. The station is on the right.
