Severe weather forecast for Sunday evening, Monday morning

HOLT, Fla., March 14, 2026—There is an increasing chance for strong-to-severe storms during the overnight hours tomorrow night into early Monday morning ahead of a cold front that will push through the area.

Level 2 risks include damaging winds—60-plus mph, possibly as high as 70 mph—and a few tornadoes, according to Mobile’s National Weather Service.

The system will move quickly through, so heavy, prolonged rain is not a concern, according to the NWS.

Monday’s forecast has a 40 percent chance of continued rain with highs topping out around 64 degrees.

Behind the storms, the cold front will cause temperatures to dip to around 32 degrees Monday and Tuesday.

Temperatures will start to rebound through the rest of the week with highs reaching near 80 degrees Friday.
