Okaloosa County is now under a local state of emergency.
Alberto continues to move west toward this area. The storm is about 100 miles south of Destin.
Isolated tornadoes are possible later tonight into Monday.
Subtropical Storm Alberto appears to have made a shift away from this area; however, tropical storm warnings are still in effect.
Alberto has picked up a little speed and will continue to gather strength as it makes it way here.
A tornado watch is likely for later today as a result of Alberto's trek toward the Gulf Coast,
Alberto is expected to hit the coast sometime Monday night or early Tuesday.
The Caribbean system is now Subtropical Storm Alberto.
