HOLT, Fla., July 22, 2017–The National Weather Service in Mobile is calling for heat indices of 100 to 105 degrees today.

While yesterday’s high temperature in Crestview only reached 93 degrees, the heat index climbed past the low 100-degree point.

Additionally, strong thunderstorms are expected this evening.

Gusty winds, frequent lightning and locally heavy rains will be possible.
