SHALIMAR, Fla., Oct. 23, 2017 [Updated Nov. 9]–The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office arrested five men during the weekend as part of its Operation Nightstalker.
The Walton County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the operation.
Operation Nightstalker targeted suspects who communicated with someone for sex whom they believed to be a minor.
Arrested were:
- Andrew A. Folkes, 25, from Fort Walton Beach, charged with soliciting a minor for sex, traveling to meet a minor for sex and use of a two-way communication device to commit a felony, arrested Oct. 22
- John T. Guzalak, 54, from Shalimar, charged with five counts of transmission of harmful images to a minor, use of a two-way communication device to commit a felony and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, arrested Oct. 22
- Jacob W. Long, 35, of Milton, charged with soliciting a minor for sex, traveling to meet a minor for sex, transmission of harmful images to a minor and use of a two-way communication device to commit a felony, arrested Oct. 21
- Matthew R. Richard, 23, of Crestview, charged with soliciting a minor for sex, traveling to meet a minor for sex and use of a two-way communication device to commit a felony, arrested Oct. 21
- Jordan K. Walker, 29, from Dothan, Ala., charged with soliciting a minor for sex, traveling to meet a minor for sex and use of a two-way communication device to commit a felony, arrested Oct. 21
Charges for additional individuals are pending.
