HOLT, Fla., Oct. 23, 2017–Temperatures for Holt and the surrounding area will be in the mid-70s behind the cold front that pushed through last night.
Today’s high is expected to be 76 degrees with a 48-degree temperature overnight. Tomorrow is expected to be a repeat of today with 75 degrees and clear skies.
According to the National Weather Service in Mobile, Crestview recorded 3.66 inches of rain during last night’s storms. The average rainfall for October is 2.9 inches.
Because of the rains, Okaloosa County is under a flash flood warning from early tomorrow until late Wednesday night.
Minor flooding of the Shoal River in Crestview is forecast early Wednesday and is expected to reach 9.6 feet. Flood stage is 8 feet.
