HOLT, Fla., Jan. 10, 2018—The National Weather Service in Mobile is calling for a little rain and colder temperatures by the weekend.
A few light rain showers are expected overnight tonight with isolated-to-scattered showers across the area Thursday.
Warm air Thursday afternoon will lead to scattered showers with rain immediately ahead of and along a cold front sometime between daybreak and noon Friday, according to the NWS Mobile.
Less than 1 inch of rain is expected due to the quickly moving front.
Temperatures will drop through the day Friday with highs in the morning and 40s and 50 in the afternoon.
Cold air will continue to settle into the area through Saturday.
Temperatures Saturday will struggle to make it out of the 40s with lows in the 20s Saturday night, according to the NWS Mobile. A hard freeze is possible.
Sunday through Wednesday next week will have temperatures well below normal with Tuesday/Wednesday being colder than currently forecast.
