HOLT, Fla., Aug. 16, 2018–The tropical wave in the southern Atlantic continues to make its way toward the Windward Islands.
The system is located about 600 miles east-southeast from the island chain moving west-northwest at about 15 mph.

Further development through the next five days remains low at 20 percent.
Meanwhile, Ernesto is now a tropical storm.
Heading toward cooler waters, Tropical Storm Ernesto is expected to become post-tropical quickly, according to the NHC.
