HOLT, Fla., Dec. 26, 2018—More rain is in the forecast beginning after midnight tonight.
According to the National Weather Service in Mobile, heavy rain is likely to bring impacts Thursday and Thursday night.
Today’s mostly sunny skies will begin to cloud over this evening with a 30 percent chance of rain after midnight.
Tomorrow’s morning showers will increase to showers and thunderstorms after noon Thursday with rainfall amounts expected between 2-to-4 inches.
Winds will be from the southeast at 10-to-20 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
Areas to the west of the forecast area can expect up to 3-to-5 inches of rain with damaging winds and a possible brief tornado.
The rain forecast continues through the weekend and into the New Year with highs in the 70s and lows in the 60s.
