HOLT, Fla., Sept. 23, 2019—The Holt Volunteer Fire District responded to a house fire this morning.
No one was hurt during the blaze.
The alarm came in about 9:30 a.m. for a structural fire on Pecan Lane in Holt. A Milton lifeguard ambulance unit reported reported the fire after seeing smoke from the Interstate.
When firefighters from Holt, Baker and Harold arrived, they found the mobile home engulfed in flames.
Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office and Okaloosa County EMS also responded to the call.
The family of four, two adults and two children, were not home at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
