HOLT, Fla., May 22, 2020—Adams Sanitation is offering optional recycling pickup services beginning July 1.

Cost for the new service is $5 a month for an every-other-week pickup.

Customers who sign up before June 1 will get their first month of recycling free.

New 96-gallon roll carts with yellow lids will be delivered mid-to-late June to collect appropriate recyclables.

For senior customers, a smaller 65-gallon cart is available upon request.

Recyclables do not need to be sorted and can be placed directly into the cart. Adams asks customers to not bag their recyclables.

Adams will grab overflow items left in additional bins placed next to the recycling cart on scheduled pickup days.

For those who want to save a few dollars, Adams Sanitation will continue to offer recycling at its Baker office free of charge.

Acceptable recycle items include:

• Glass, any color
• Newspaper and inserts
• Cardboard
• Boxboard (cereal, cake, cracker boxes, etc.)
• Plastic bottles
• Plastics No. 1 and 2
• Plastic milk jugs and 2-liter bottles (including caps)
• Aluminum cans and lids
• Tin and steel cans and lids
• Metal pots, pans and cookie sheets
• Pet food cans (no plastic liner)
