HOLT, Fla., July 19, 2020—Baker’s virus numbers have increased for the eighth straight day according to data from the Florida Department of Health.
Today’s numbers increased by two for a total of 40 positive coronavirus cases. Baker has been averaging two new cases per day for the past eight days.
Holt’s and Milligan’s totals held at 11 and one, respectively.
Laurel Hill increased by one to 17. Crestview added 10 more virus number to its total bringing it to 343.
In addition to adding 60 more virus cases to its number, Okaloosa County also added three more deaths, bringing the total to 15.
Okaloosa County has been averaging 62 new virus cases per day for the past 15 days.
On April 30, just before the governor’s stay-at-home order took effect, Florida had 33,690 total positive virus cases. Today’s total of 350,047 is more than 10 times the April 30 total, with an average of 10,400 new cases each day since June 1.
