HOLT, Fla., July 24, 2020–Holt and Baker both added one more positive virus case to their totals.
Holt now has 15 total cases and Baker has 43. Laurel Hill also added another case for a total of 20.
Milligan is still holding at one case.
Florida hit a milestone today by surpassing the 400,000 total case mark. The state now stands at 402,312.
With daily increases of 9,000 or more cases, Florida is quickly closing in on New York’s total numbers. Today’s health department update puts Florida a little more than 8,000 cases to reach New York’s total case number.
Only California, at 431,291, has more cases than New York and is now the virus epicenter for the United States.

The COVID Project
Yesterday, the United States also reached a grim milestone, surpassing the 4,000,000 positive case mark. Today’s numbers stand at 4,097,270 total cases, according to information from Johns Hopkins.
Infection rate has been steadily climbing since mid-June, according to information from The COVID Project.
