HOLT, Fla., July 28, 2020–Baker and Laurel Hill have increased their COVID-19 numbers for the last two days.
Both communities added two new cases yesterday; Baker added a third new case today.
Crestview continues to add positive case numbers, breaking the 500 threshold by adding 26 new cases for a total of 520.
Holt and Milligan remained at 16 and two total positive cases, respectively.
While Florida didn’t have a record-high increase in positive cases, it did add another 9,203 bringing the total to 441,977.
Florida also reported the highest number of statewide virus-related deaths in a 24-hour period to date with 191 additional deaths.
Across the United States, COVID-19-related deaths have risen to nearly 150,000 and have steadily increased since early July, according to data from The COVID Tracking Project.
