Baker’s virus  numbers rise again

HOLT, Fla., Aug. 1, 2020—After three days without any new coronavirus cases, Baker added another five cases to its totals today with the state health department update.

Baker now has 57 total positive virus cases.

Laurel Hill also added another case for a total of 24.

Holt and Milligan remain at 18 and two respectively.

In south Okaloosa County, Fort Walton Beach is only four cases away from surpassing the 1,000 positive case milestone.

DeathsOkaloosa County also added two more virus-related deaths yesterday and four more today for a total of 30.

Because of Hurricane Isaias, virus testing sites have been closed in areas along Florida’s east coast until Aug. 5.
