North county virus cases inch upwards

HOLT, Fla., Aug. 3, 2020—Positive virus trends continue to rise in parts of north Okaloosa County.

Baker and Laurel Hill added to their totals today, according to Florida Department of Health data.

Baker added three more cases for a total of 61. Laurel Hill added one more, bringing its total to 27.

Holt and Milligan continue to hold at 20 and two, respectively.

Crestview has averaged 17 cases a day for the past 30 days with an additional 22 new virus cases today for a total of 561.

Statewide, today’s 4,752 additional new cases was the lowest in the last 30 days.
