HOLT, Fla., Sept. 24, 2020—Two people were arrested on drug charges here Monday.
Randy Perez Marion Deaundra Vondress
Holt resident Randy Perez, 48, and Crestview resident Marion Deaundra Vondress, 33, were arrested for cocaine possession, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and drug equipment possession/use.
Okaloosa County Sheriff’s deputies came to Holt to locate Perez for outstanding felony warrants. Investigators found him inside a mobile home on Sundance Way.
While arresting Perez, investigators saw drugs and drug paraphernalia in plain view in the living room, according to the arrest report.
After being read his rights, Perez allowed the deputies to search his home. They found .5 grams of crack cocaine, a container with 3 grams of an unknown white powder, several makeshift smoking devices and several syringes.
The arrest report stated the investigators also found 38 dosages and three fragments of Alprazolam (the generic form of Xanax). Perez did not have a prescription for the drug.
Marion stated she and Perez had been smoking crack cocaine the day before.
