
HOLT, Fla., April 7, 2021—Another 1-2 punch of severe weather is possible tonight and Friday into Saturday with heavy rainfall into the weekend.
This first round of storms is expected to bring a line of strong to possibly severe storms through the area late tonight into tomorrow morning.
Almost the entire forecast area is in a level 1 (out of 5) risk because of this. Primary threat is damaging wind gusts.

Then, late Friday into Saturday, a second round of storms is forecast to be a bit stronger.
A level 2 risk, these storms have a slightly greater potential for damaging winds and possibly a tornado or two, according to the National Weather Service.
Heavy rainfall can lead to widespread 2 to 4 inches of rain between now and Saturday, with locally higher amounts, according to the NWS.
Sunday and Monday are forecast to be mostly sunny with shower chances increasing Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures are forecast to be above the seasonal norm.
