HOLT, Fla., April 24, 2021—Another round of strong-to-severe thunderstorm activity is expected later today.
According to the National Weather Service’s 7:17 a.m. update, there will likely be a few hours in between this morning’s storm activity before another round of severe storms spins up.
Current environmental conditions continue to support intense straight-line winds with the possibility of tornados—some which may be strong—during the next few hours.
Cloud breaks later today could increase development of more severe weather this afternoon into early evening.
These storms may again reach severe limits and pose a threat for damaging winds and large to very large golf-ball-sized (or larger) hail with the most intense storms, according to the NWS.
