LAUREL HILL, Fla., June 23, 2021—The Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church is hosting a Hymn Sing during worship services Sunday at 9 a.m.
“Now that services are back to pre-COVID ‘normal,’ we plan to lift our voices and sing out in joy,” said Rev. Mark Broadhead, church pastor.
During the Hymn Sing service, the first since COVID-19, the congregation and guests will select favorite hymns—new and old—from the church’s current and traditional hymnals.
The church welcomes visitors of all—or no—denominations to its traditional services, which are accompanied by Okaloosa County’s only genuine pipe organ north of Crestview.
The sing will be held in the Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church sanctuary, built in 1901, located at 8115 Fourth Ave in Laurel Hill.

Delighted to hear about eh Hymn Sing in Laurel Hill. Are you aware of “Give Me Grace to Shout and Shine” – a paperback published by Baker Block Museum. It chronicles the local history of congregational music – even has reference to Laurel events and local families Perhaps the musem would want to put up a display in the lobby area at the event. Again SO GLAD to hear about this event.
