HOLT, Fla., June 27, 2021—A single-car accident on Interstate 10 this morning sent the driver to the hospital with minor injuries.

A 23-year-old Texas woman was traveling east on I-10 near Holt exit 45 around 7:45 a.m. when she lost control of her car and ran off the road onto the shoulder and collided with the southern guardrail, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

She over corrected and sent the car left across both eastbound lanes and crashed into the northern guardrail. The car came to a stop on top of the guardrail.

The driver was transported to North Okaloosa Medical Center with minor injuries. There were no passengers in the car.
