CRESTVIEW, Fla., July 5, 2021—No one was hurt today when a fire broke out in north Crestview around 9 a.m.

Holt Fire District assisted North Okaloosa Fire District and Crestview Fire Department in putting out the blaze on Staff Road where the flames reached near treetop level.

The family and their two dogs escaped to watch as firefighters fought to save the residence. Both cars were saved from damage.

Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office and Okaloosa County EMS also assisted at the scene.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
