
HOLT, Fla., July 18, 2021—The wet and stormy weather pattern in the area will continue through the five-day forecast period.
Numerous showers and thunderstorms will continue into the evening hours as an upper-level low and a moist air mass remain parked over the forecast area, according to the National Weather Service in Mobile.
Tomorrow will see slightly higher rain chances due to a low pressure over the southeast approaching the forecast area.
Showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue into the evening tomorrow.
A few of the stronger storms tomorrow could produce gusty winds, frequent lightning, heavy rainfall and a chance of localized downbursts, according to the NWS.
Very heavy rainfall with showers and thunderstorms is possible Monday night through Wednesday night.
Microbursts are possible in the strongest thunderstorms, along with frequent lightning, heavy rainfall and gusty winds, according to the NWS.
Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms can be expected Thursday and Friday.
Rain and cloudy skies will continue to keep high temperatures below normal for this time of year, according to the NWS.
