Matthews was arrested Jan. 26 for contempt of court, sexual assault by someone over 18: sexual battery of a child under 12, child cruelty: promoting child sex, child pornography possession, failure to appear for felony and misdemeanor offenses, child neglect without great bodily harm, hold for Santa Rosa County.
Matthews was arrested in 2021 for failure to appear for leaving the scene of an accident, driving without a license, lewd behavior, child neglect and contributing to the delinquency of a minor in Santa Rosa County; and failure to comply with sex offender law and child neglect in Okaloosa County. She was arrested for non-compliance to register as a sex offender on an out-of-county warrant in Santa Rosa County. In 2020, Matthews was arrested for child neglect, lewd behavior toward a minor, driving without a license and leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage.

Simmons was arrested in 2021 for grand theft auto, drugs and failure to appear in court on drug charges. He was arrested in 2020 for probation violation, simple domestic assault/threat to do violence and resisting arrest; and for parole violation for drugs in Henry County.
