One-stop sheriff app packed with info

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla., Feb. 21, 2022—The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office announced a new free smartphone application available for download.

“This app will serve as a new way for us to connect with residents and visitors, providing information quickly and efficiently to anyone with a smartphone,” said Sheriff Eric Aden.

The app offers quick access to items of public interest such as warrants, sex offenders, news and events, unsolved crimes and mug shots.

“I know that’s always on people’s bucket list, that they want to look at the most recent arrests,” he said.

The app provides a one-shop-stop for information on all the different OCSO programs, according to the sheriff.

“We wanted to take advantage of this efficient way to reach and serve the public and there’s no better way than through their smartphones,” said Aden. “If you want to see if someone has a warrant or who we’ve arrested in the past week, it’s all right here—with much, much more.”

The app was developed by TheSheriffApp.com, a division of OCV, LLC which specializes in mobile app development for sheriffs’ offices and public safety organization across the country.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office app is available for download for free in Apple’s App Store and Google Play by searching for “Okaloosa County Sheriff.”
