
HOLT, Fla., March 11, 2023—There is the potential for strong-to-severe thunderstorms tomorrow as a cold front moves across the area.
The entire forecast area is under a level 2 out of 5 risk for severe weather.
Timing here is expected to be in the afternoon/evening between 2-8 p.m.
The main threat from any of the stronger storms will include damaging winds in excess of 60 mph, heavy rains and large hail up to golf ball size, according to the National Weather Service.
A few tornadoes are also possible.
Temperatures behind the cold front will drop to highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s with a low Tuesday night in the high 30s.
Another round of storms could sweep through the area again sometime Friday, according to the NWS.
