HOLT, Fla., May 22, 2023—A pickup truck tangled with a school bus this morning on Log Lake Road at the Interstate 10 interchange.

No one was injured in the accident, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

The Milton driver of a pickup was exiting the eastbound interstate exit ramp to Log Lake Road around 6:40 a.m. when he said his brakes failed as he approached the stop sign.

He told FHP he drove onto the grass shoulder to slow his vehicle down; however, the front of the truck hit the back left rear of a school bus with five children on board headed south on Log Lake.

A post-crash inspection of the pickup showed the brake system was working properly, according to the release.
