HOLT, Fla., Dec. 8, 2017, 4 p.m.—The National Weather Service in Mobile has extended its winter weather advisory to include Okaloosa County.
The advisory is in effect until 4 a.m., with the exception of the immediate coastline.
Snow is expected to spread to the I-65 corridor in Alabama by 10 p.m., then through the remainder of the forecast area through late tonight.
According to the NWS Mobile, minor accumulations of 1 inch of snow are possible during the early morning hours.

A freeze warning from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday remains in effect for the southern half of the forecast area tonight, with sub-freezing temperatures.
Lows tonight for this area are expected around 30 degrees.
Saturday is forecast to be sunny with a high of 48 degrees.
