HOLT, Fla., Feb. 28, 2019—More rain is expected through the rests of the week and in to the weekend according to the National Weather Service forecast.
Showers and thunderstorms will continue to form and move east over the forecast area today with the best coverage occurring through the mid-morning hours.
Although less coverage is expected by afternoon, gusty straight-line winds along with small-to-medium-size hail may occur with some of the stronger thunderstorms.
Widespread severe weather is not expected.
Areas of fog, possibly becoming dense at times, can be expected late tonight generally after midnight.
For Friday through next Wednesday, areas of fog, possibly dense at times, may occur during the late night and early morning hours.
A few strong thunderstorms will be possible ahead of a cold front Sunday afternoon through Sunday evening.
Low temperatures will begin dropping Sunday night with much colder temperatures expected late Tuesday night into early Wednesday.
A light freeze will be possible Tuesday night generally along and north of the I-10 corridor.
