HOLT, Fla., July 22, 2019—A cold front will bring cooler-than-normal temperatures for this area Tuesday.
Showers and thunderstorms will precede cooler air with some storms producing heavy rain, according to the National Weather Service.
Rain chances for Tuesday is 90 percent with heavy rain.
Tuesday night, this area can expect an 80 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly before 1 a.m. with some storms again producing heavy rain.
Rain chances gradually decrease behind the cold front into the evening as the front moves southeast of I-65 by early afternoon producing generally below-normal temperatures here.
According to the NWS, it should feel drier both Wednesday and Thursday as minimum afternoon relative humidities will be some 20-to-30 percent lower compared to both Monday and Tuesday afternoon.
Highs Tuesday and Wednesday will be in the mid-to-upper 80s with a low temperature around 70 degrees.
Morning lows will fall into the low-to-mid 60s both Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
