Making the season merrier by giving

STORY UPDATE, Dec. 5, 10 a.m.: The 4- and 12-year-old boy and girl have been taken care of. Still looking for support for the 15-year-old boy.

ElfHOLT, Fla., Dec. 5, 2019—Santa’s elves assigned to the Holt area are hard at work again this year.

Each year, they focus on a handful of folks who need a little extra attention to help make their Christmas merrier.

Included this year are two boys and a girl.

This is the fourth year Santa has dispatched his elves to Holt. Previous elf-identified recipients included children, single parents and senior citizens.

All gifts and recipients are anonymous.

Anyone wishing to help Santa’s elves in this Christmas project can drop off donated items to the Holt Post Office during normal operating hours.

Gift suggestions:

  • 4-year-old boy: books, toy trucks and/or cars and crayons
  • 12-year-old girl: art supplies, board games, dominoes, a salon gift card
  • 15-year-old boy: clothes, a backpack, wallet, school supplies
