HOLT, Fla., Jan. 7, 2020—A bait and tackle shop is located just off the beaten track in Holt.

Round About Bait & Tackle, owned and operated by Greg Casey, is located down Log Lake Road on Whippoorwill Road.

Although it’s the off-season for fishing, Casey said customers just need to give him a call to pick up live bait or other fishing supplies.

He’s got live crickets and three types of worms.

When the weather begins to warm up, Casey has plans to build a pole barn with tanks for other types of bait, such as shrimp and crawfish.

“This will be the only place around with all the live bait,” he said.

He also stocks a limited supply of archery and other hunting gear and keeps other types of camping supplies, such as charcoal, for campers at River’s Edge and Eagle’s Landing RV campgrounds.
