Holt, Baker continue to add virus numbers

HOLT, Fla., July 16, 2020—Holt and Baker added more numbers to their positive case totals according to today’s state health department update.

Holt added three more positive cases for a total of nine.

Baker’s number increased by six bringing the total to 33.

Laurel Hill also added one more positive case and now stands at 15 total.

Across Okaloosa County, an additional 91 cases brings the total of positive COVID-19 cases to 1,623. The county also saw an additional virus-related death for a total of 12.

Escambia County broke a milestone by surpassing 5,000 total positive cases.

In related news, Publix will begin requiring face coverings in its stores beginning July 21.  Publix joins Walmart and Sam’s Club in requiring face masks while inside their stores (see related story).
